This is a nice Florida Vintage Super Tone Master mouthpiece for tenor saxophone, serial number A35. With exception to the typical finish wear on this piece it is physically in very good shape. The rails, tip and table are all in very nice shape showing no major wear or damage. There is just the slightest bit of cosmetic wear in the area above the tip rail. This mouthpiece was originally a 4* opening but has sense been opened to .089” making it very close to a 6. If you are a player who really digs the smaller “Coltrane” size tip opening then this is perfect. It is an incredibly awesome free blowing mouthpiece, there is little to no back pressure. The whole range of the horn is extremely easy to control from low Bb through the altissimo register. Overall the sound of this mouthpiece is humongous and fairly bright. It should also be noted the mouthpiece has a lot of volume and projection in comparison to many other Otto Link mouthpiece’s in the early Florida vintage.
