This is a nice Selmer Paris metal mouthpiece for tenor saxophone. The mouthpiece is physically in good condition. The beak and upper body do not show any major wear, there is a little wear in the bite plate region but nothing major. At some point there was some work done to this mouthpiece. A extra length of brass was professionally machined the end of the shank for improved intonation on a Conn. The table is in good condition and measures true. Its tip and rails are both looking great, there is just a little plating wear in the area below the tip rail, this is only cosmetic and will not effect the way the piece plays. This piece has very lovely dark resonant sound, hand finishing to the baffle area gives also gives the piece very good projection and control.
