Here is a mintish completely original Selmer Super alto saxophone, serial number 17161. This horn dates back to early 1932, and is in remarkable condition.

Physically, you would never guess the age of this horn by looking at it. The original lacquer is over 99.9% intact, with only a small amount of light scratching on the back of the body tube. The horn has never seen any past damages, and has nothing more than a couple extremely small pings. The sax is shown with the original neck, with has never been pulled down.
