Here is a rare early Buescher “New Aristocrat” alto sax, serial number 263859, in absolutely pristine condition. This was a transitional model made between the late True Tone and early Aristocrat, and only produced during the 263xxx-268xxx serial range.

This particular instrument is incredibly stunning, with over 99% original silver matte finish remaining. The only wear to speak of is on the thumb rest! There are no dents, no dings, and no past damage. It features the ** neck.

The sax was serviced by the Saxquest shop. The pads were re-fitted with the original Buescher metal domed snap-in resonators, and the original Norton gold plated springs. Given the proper set up, the instrument feels very smooth and comfortable under the fingers.

This is a particularly free blowing saxophone with a nice warm core sound. If you get the chance to play one of these, don't pass it by. Its a wonderful experience.
