This a late Chu Berry vintage Portrait model burnished gold plated alto saxophone, serial number 237792. It is a gorgeous saxophone with 95% of the original gold still intact. The engraving is exquisite floral style with a vintage flapper lady. This saxophone has rolled toneholes, file G# key and the original Conn tuner neck.

The physical condition is excellent. There are NO dents and NO signs of any previous dentwork. The neckstrap hook and low D ventkey guard have been resoldered. There has been slight plating wear around the toneholes and resolders.

This saxophone has a wonderfully rich tone that has great presence and projection. It is beautiful both physically and sonically. The horn has been photographed in its original Conn case which is in good condition.
