This is a beautiful matte silver plated Conn Chu Berry tenor sax, serial number 156032. This horn is a sweet player.

The original silver finish is well over 95% intact. There are no dents or dings, and no resoldered joints anywhere on the horn. The gold wash inside the bell is also nearly perfect.

This sax has a nice warm gutsy kind of a sound. It is an extremely free blowing horn, playing with almost no resistance. It has a nice spread sound as well, really allowing the player to fill a room easily.
