This is an outstanding early vintage Conn New Wonder tenor saxophone, serial number 98888. This tenor is excellent shape despite its age (made in 1922!) and is a fine player.

The horn has no major dents and no resoldered joints. The matte silver finish is close to 99% intact, with just minor wear. The sax does have rolled tone holes which have never been filed.

This tenor's sound is a little darker than the later vintage Chu's and 10M's, but it still has the same kind of spread characteristic and still blows very easily.
