1938 Selmer Alto Saxophone "Balanced Action"

This is a beautiful vintage alto saxophone  This alto has been gently used as well as just overhauled using the finest material available. All tone holes have been leveled by hand using a diamond encrusted hand wheel. The new pads are made of black kangaroo leather which are guaranteed to never stick.The original lacquer is intact with a normal amounts of wear and fine scratches which are expected.  Two slight cosmetic blemishes. One is on the alto neck where an electric pickup hole was and fixed before I bought it 25 years ago. This blemish in no way effects the sweet mellow sound of this rare horn. The second is on the low "C" hand guard, the solder is a little funky. Again, this affects the sound in no way. My price is firm because of the work done and the rarity of this unique instrument.  Leather covered case is included. Mouthpiece NOT included !!!
