Selmer Balanced Action Alto

Selmer Balanced Action Alto, one of the early ones... serial 21629. Original lacquer finish is a deep rich and great looking color, but likely degraded (bare brass seems exposed in many areas, a few surfaces on some keys have a greenish color), but aside from that it seems tip-top (no dents or dings) and still sounds and plays great. Purchased privately by my parents, and I played it in junior highschool through college (1980-1989). Had it out a handful of times over the past 23 years to play it a bit. The $3,000 is not firm (up or down). I'm hoping to receive some price points for comparison from interested parties. I'm not looking to jerk anyone around, but I'm not looking to be low-balled either, so if you are interested make your best offer the first time.
