My dad was a band director and this was his sisters saxophone. His dad owned an antique business and found this sax for her. I inherited the sax, but honestly have no idea what it is worth or what I should ask for it. It is a Conn made in Elkhart, IN. The serial number is 130706. It is in great condition (no dings), but the silver is tarnished and a couple of spots have some wear. However it is a very ornate sax in a very vintage case. I have no idea how to research it, but I definitely need to sell it. I will be more than happy to send all the pics you want. Make me an offer. I'm being fairly transparent with this ad, so please don't take advantage of that. A good friend of mine plays sax for Prince and he is researching it as well, so I may have a better idea soon.
Also if you're not interested, but know more info, please let me know. |
