Selmer Tenor Saxophone for sale. SBA Super Balanced Action from 1950. Snr 422xx.
This horn is in fine cosmetic condition, and still has a large portion of its original lacquer remaining. The core of the sound is strong, while retaining enough body to keep it from being too shrill up high, and too tubby in the low end. The neck is in beautiful condition. This is a player´s horn with a dark complex sound.
The sax has same key guard style on the bell keys as you will find on Coltrane´s original SBA.
