C melody Conn... mouthpiece?

I just bought a C melody New Wonder Conn, made 1924ish. My alto mouthpiece sounds great on it, but the intonation sucks.. Are there companies that make C mouthpieces? I read in another post about a trying a tenor mouthpiece on it, any recommendations? I paid $120 for it, and I have a friend who is a repairmen, so I can get any repairs for nothing. Is this horn worth it? I don't care much, plan to keep it around, but just curious.

Both Runyon and Beechler make fine C-mel pieces that use standard tenor reeds. Try www.runproducts.com You can get a nice piece with cap and lig for under $100 A few bucks more and you can get a spoiler with it. Also check out www.cybersax.com Bear does a nice write up on C-mels and MP's. I think he also retails both pieces.

Aquilasax.com does a slightly modified version of an original spec C mel mpc for only 35 dollars. Hard rubber with lig. No problems! Gives a slightly brighter tone than the originals but still warm.
