How many School bands are you in?

I'm currently in 4. I'm in the Marching band, the band attending the Midwest Conference in December, Jazz Band and Classic Rock Band. I play Bari Sax in all 4, though my director wants me to play Tenor in Rock Band.

Let's see... I play clarinet in our standard concert band, I do tenor in our Sinfonietta, tenor in our jazz band, tenor in our marching band, I play bass drum in our winter drumline, and I normally play various woodwinds during the musical. I also play bass in a band with my boyfriend :) hehe God, I'm such a band geek... I love it!

I feel pretty small time now..... Jazz, Symphonic, and marching all tenor for now. I think I will be switching to alto in Symphonic band in a few weeks. I'm also in Music Theory....if that counts.

Re: How many School bands are you in?

I play the alto sax in marching band, tenor sax in jazz band, and the director makes the jazz band kids play in the concert band as well. I don't really care for the concert band... After playing jazz, the concert music is really boring. Plus the tenor saxes never get good parts in concert music. Kelsey
