General Info

I should have introduced myself earlier. I am a certified "Geezer" (71+) with degrees in Music Ed. I attended Oklahoma City University (James Neilson) as a scholarship Oboist. Have played Tenor Sax and Clarinet for some years now. Was a Band Director for 10 years in Florida and my degrees are all from Florida State University (transferred in 1955). Retired from NC State Government. Continue to play and perform - Community Band and Woodwind Quintet plus some sessions from time to time. I appreciate this site - especially Connsaxmanjim. Have acquired some good horns from time to time and will be selling them in the future.

    Challey- Welcome sir. I attended OU, but knew some folks at OCU. wish I could think of that alto sax player's name - teacher in the 1970's - wonderful tone. Scott, maybe? I did not major in music, but paid some bills with my tenor. Still do from time to time - been playing 44 years. Guess you have me beat a bit. Good Luck.
