    You're gonna get both end of the spectrum. yes they play amazingly well, but are they worth paying 5x what you would for another pro sax?......

    some of them are. the deal is, buying a mark vi without trying it first is like marrying someone online that you've never met before. some are great and some suck. the best horn in the world is probably some mark vi, and the worst horn in the world is probably some other mark vi.

      if they werent michael brecker, lenny pickett, sonny rollins, phil woods, i could go on forever.....probably wouldnt have stuck with theirs for so long. Mine blows every other horn I have played and owned out of the water. But the only real judge is yourself.
