I have been playing on a red Vandoren 77 for about 25 years. It Plays really easy and you can get wailing altissamo on it. I'd like to find a back up someday but very little information on these.

These are interesting pieces. You can also find them as T99, T100, T101, T111 (and perhaps some other numbers as well). I have a couple red ones and a black one that have the same basic design - to me, they play very similarly to a Morgan C design with the slender beak. Nice focus with a rich tone that's not too bright, not too dark. Excellent classical tone, though the beak is too slim for the kind of vibrato control I need.

I too have been playing a red #77 for about 25 years. Do you know where to find a back-up mouthpiece? I've been using mine on a 1967 King Super-20 Tenor. Thanks, Hoop

I only have one red Vandoren anymore, but I have a black T100 in that design I'd be willing to part with. What tip opening are you looking for? I can open it up if need be.
