King zephyr tenor (annoying buzz)??!!

I recently aquired a King zephyr tenor (1938-) I've had it nearly 3 weeks and all of a sudden I'm getting this resonant type buzz when playing an A or G in either upper or lower register although it is more pronounced with the octave key depressed. Any thoughts on isolating and eliminating the problem? I've tried several mouthpieces and reeds too. Thanks.....

I would say to check the springs and keys that you play with your left hand. Does the action feel alright? I would guess that it was a problem with a spring, but i would have to play your sax to see for sure.

I'll bet it's the metal resonators(If it has them). One of them might be loose, and it could be vibrating against where the pad touches the side of the toneholes.

I just found the culprit ! The linkage to the side-c key was metal on metal. Apparently the cork had come off. Temporarily, I stuck a piece of reed between the metal pieces and the buzzing went away. Thanks for the input !
