Jazz MP - but not too bright

I play a silver Custom Z alto, and naturally, I have a fairly bright tone a lot of the time (even with my classical setup: a C* and a Rovner Dark!). I am looking to invest in a new jazz MP now. I would like one that is fairly free-blowing and not real bright. I currently use La Voz med hard reeds. Some pieces I'm considering trying are (all rubber, because metal are generally too bright I've heard): Berg Larsen, Claude Lakey, E. Rousseau Studio Jazz, Meyer, Otto Link, and a Strathon Adjustatone. Please tell me all you know about these makes, like which is bright/darker, which one is louder, which one has solid tone, etc; also you could inform about other MPs you think may fit my needs. Thanks for the help, guys! Kitch
