What sax did Grover Washington, Jr. Play?

Hey, I remember reading a magazine article years ago that stated the make of Grover's tenor and soprano saxophones, but I can't recall what the name was. Does anyone know for sure? Was he using handmade instruments? I don't think they had a common or household name.

    Never mind--as of 1980 Grover Washington, Jr. played H. Couf saxophones exclusively.
