Apparent leak despite repeated repairs

I have a nice 97000 Mark VI tenor.I bought it used about 25 years ago.I have had it padded and adjusted several times since then but have always felt that it continued to have some sort of leakage especially detectable from low F and down.Subtones from C downward not possible.Has anyone had this problem with invisable leakage? I've tried many instruments and have never come across this.Technicians are so far baffled. It was an original silver plate from Paris. When I bought it,I was advised to re-silver it due to wear.I didn't know any better then and did it immediately.I'm wondering if something related to this may be the cause.

    Have you tried different reeds/ligatures/mouthpieces/necks/players?

I had a problem leak caused by a weak spring on the right hand fork f#. I put a lot of air into the horn and I was blowing it open when playing the lower notes. Merry Christmas........Kelsey
