New here, and just bought a 6m

Seasons greetings all! I am a drummer who played tenor sax through school and professionally as a kid. I recently started to play again and just picked up a 6m, with the naked lady & USA, Elkhart engraved on the bell. The serial number is 535437 with no prefix. So does that mean this horn is from 1969 or earlier? It has chrome fingering & keys and I thought that pre'70s horns were solid color brass finished? Thanks!
