mpc.'s

Beautiful day......feeling real "laid back".....mmm. Been a good week. Played a load of mpc.'s. Bought a few. Played a Berg. t.o.....160. guy said it had been opened to 180....i dunno....crazy. I once heard "Lockjaw" played a14 link...made for him. The story also says Rico made him real thin reeds.....like1/2...or. 5.This may be a load of nonsense.....i dunno. Good story though. So.....any mpc. extremists out there? Playing massive t.o......or the other way. Players using1:-* rubber?......later...

    Re: mpc.'s

I play on a Selmer Larry Teal which has a very conservative tip opening then switch to a HR Otto Link 7* for jazz. That can be difficult, but the worst switch is going from playing bassoon in a symphony orchestra to playing sax. It always takes me a while to get used to it again.

Hi man....i would like to say "i can imagine"...i believe the bassoon is one difficult instrument. Double reed? Countless fingering permutations. I have never used#7 mpc. I dunno...6 yeah....8&9 yeah...but not7. Odd....good luck man....ade
