Mystery F alto?

Hi! I'm trying to figure out what this saxophone is: saxophones-list.blogspot.com/2011/01/mystery-sax.html I've shown it to my local saxophone repairman and he said he'd never seen one before. There's no markings on the body, except for the serial number #5xxx, which is also carved into the neck and one of the bell keys (B, I suppose). It's silver plated with a golden bell interior. Nothing much more I can tell about it, if you have any idea what it could be, I'd appreciate it! Cheers, Jude

The bell is shorter than usual and has only one tone hole, which lead the tech to think it would be and F horn. He said it was good quality hand made saxophone and definitely not a cheap Chinese one.
