C.G. Conn alto Sax

Hi- my dad gave my son an alto sax that sat in the shed for 20 years. I brought it to a music shop to possibly put it in working condition. He was pleased to tell me it was a C.G Conn-the serial # is 2426-he said it's an oldie! Can anyone give me any information-it's a nice looking sax and I intend to hang it on the wall if not played. Than you for any input.
