Underated saxophone players of the 1940's-1960's

I'm wondering if people would share their discoveries of saxophone players from the 1940's-1960's who have flown under the radar. The Giants get so much of the attention that many fantastic players just just don't get their fiar due today.

I'll start with John Gilmore. I've recently been getting into his playing after digging through Art Blakey and the Jazz Messengers recordings.

    Harold Land - so much more than a footnote to Clifford Brown and Max Roach.  Great combination of classic tone and modern ideas.  He did some great stuff in the 60s.

    Henry Bridges - great tenor player with Harlan Leonard and the Rockets, which was itself an overlooked Kansas City band with Tadd Dameron playing piano and arranging.  

    Brew Moore - sparsely recorded player who sounds the way Lester Young might have had he developed into a bebop/hard bop player.  Easily the equal of Stan Getz.
