To Repair My Tenor or Not?

I have a Bundy II tenor saxophone that I played from 1978 until 1985.  I haven't touched it in 20 years but have decided it's about time I pulled it out and played it some.

It looks as though it will need all new pads, a good cleaning, and new cork.  My local music store charges $375 for all of that.  It also has a couple minor dents in it...not sure how much it would cost to fix those...and a new mouth piece.  So I'm thinking I would be looking at $475+ in order to get this saxophone back into shape.

I'm just going to be playing it for fun and to my wife, 5 year old son, and 16 year old daughter.

Should I have this tenor sax repaired or would I be better off putting that money into a new starter/student/beginner tenor saxophone?

Thanks for your input.

$375 is on the high end of what one of those horns in top condition with mouthpiece sells for on eBay.  Why not shop around with a budget of $500, try out some different horns (fun!) and find out if there's some cool old horn that floats your boat?
