A friend of mine gave an old Conn tenor sax. I don't know much about it. It reads:PATD DEC 8, 1914 1119954 T 115001 LCan anybody tell me what kind of saxophone is? From what year? Anything you can tell me?Thanks in advance.

It's a Conn New Wonder model tenor, low pitch, from 1923. As a Low Pitch horn it is playable to modern tuning standards. They're nice sounding horns, but certain aspects of them are challenging for players and techs.
