C Melody Sax

I recently obtained a C-melody saxophone from a friend of mine, but have no idea who manufactured it. This is all the info on it that I have:

-Purchased in the 1920's, but may have been bought sooner or a little later

-Serial # is 51XXX

I've added some photos of the instrument with its case and the design on the bell. If anyone can provide any information on who migth have made this horn it would be very appreciated!

    Re: C Melody Sax

It looks like either a Martin or Couturiere made for sale as a stencil (merchandiser-branded) horn, because of the soldered toneholes with a straight bevel towards the pad seat.
