Tenor Jazz Method Books

I'm a alto legit player who has been asked to play tenor in a community band. Figured since I was getting a tenor I might experiment with some jazz styles. Don't have much jazz saxophone experience... in high school jazz band I played bass guitar. Can anyone recommend a method book to pick up? I was thinking maybe something with a CD that would contain rhythm section tracts to practice improvization. My biggest problem is thinking outside the box... if its on the music I can play it but I am not very creative and don't have a great ear.

    Re: Tenor Jazz Method Books

Guess I should have checked the jazz forum. I found a thread there with some suggestions.
