What's a good research question regarding the "glissando"

Hi

I'm a senior in High School (I study Music and my main instrument is the Saxophone) and we have to write a paper about a chosen subject. Regardlesly, I took "Glissando" as my subject but I have no idea how I can construct a legit "research question" around this topic. 
I was planning on basing it on The first improvisation of Ryo Noda, because that's one of the pieces I'm playing, but this isn't necesarry.

Does anybody have an idea?

    Cosy Sax. how about "the Glissando is the most boring subject that could ever be chosen as a research question........why".....?????......a negative approach might be the best way to find enough to write about?
