Beechler metal mpc vs Otto Link mpc

I am using a Meyer 7M and intending to buy a metal mpc for my SBA alto. Any opinions on Beechler or Otto Link mpc? Thanks a lot.

    try them both and see what one you like best. I love my vintage Otto Link Super Tone Master on my tenor. On my SBA alto, the Otto Link 6 sounds a little too shrill for my tastes. I have a Meyer 7M for my tenor also and it's considerably brighter than my Link, so you might like the Otto Link 6.

      I'll second a super tone master on tenor. =) but it's all about your taste and what you want or feel comfterable playing.

    I don't have an alto. But, I use an Otto Link Super Tone Master 7* metal mpc on my Buescher 400 tenor sax with Vandoren V16 size 3 reed. What a combination! What a sound! I suggest that you visit some music stores and try before you buy since there are so many mpc brands and sizes to choose from.
