Re: Mark IV prices
The value can range depending on when it was made and the overall mechanical and cosmetic condition of the horn. Particularily, VIs make between the 80,000 and 120,000 serial ranges are the most sought after, and most expensive. With the VI being the horn for so many in commercial settings, It would not surprise me if having 95%+ intact laquer would give a value up to 50% higher than a well worn horn made the same year. Some people like their vintage selmers shiney, and they're willing to pay for it.
