Sax Publications

Does anybody subscribe to any publications? Is there any that you dont have to be a music major to understand? If so please share. Thank you

    Saxophone Journal can be pretty good. Some articles are basic and some are more complicated. You can find it at www.dornpub.com maybe order a back issue and see if it's what you're looking for...

      Downbeat's pretty good. It's a jazz magazine, not just sax. It has a lot of reviews on listening and is really interesting to read. They also have sax related advertisements which are pretty cool. I like it a lot. -tenor562

        All right, Im glad to hear saxophone journal is good. I subscribed the other day, I think the interactive cd with each issue is an excellent tool. Maybe I'll learn something. Thanks!!!!
