mouthpiece safety

hey, I just bought a new mouthpiece for my tenor sax. It's a Dukoff D7, and its my first metal mouthpiece. Is there a special way to clean them? I mean, with some rubber mouthpieces, you shouldnt use hot water becuase it will damage them, but does this apply to metal mouthpieces? Also, Dukoff mouthpieces are made of a special alloy. Does anyone know if there is a special way to clean them? Thanks in advance!

Dishsoap and water. Use some vinegar if there's saliva crusties you need to get off of it. Be very gentle with those silverite Dukoffs. The metal is extremely soft.
