King tenor sax appraisal

I have an old tenor sax that I'm looking to sell, but I'd like to know the value of it before I do that. It's a King Super 20, with the silver bell. It's not the shiniest thing, but the pads are in decent shape despite many years of not being used. The serial number is 427277, if that helps. I'm also open to any advice on where to sell it. I'd like to get a fair price, but I'd also like to see it in the hands of someone who would use it or appreciate it. E-mail me at [email protected] or respond here. Thanks.

Thats a king from about 1968.Not the golden era vintage but still fetch a good price.A good way to accessing the current market is to look on completed sales on ebay.A few kings have gone thru lately so you may get a good idea. Dave

I didn't know how old it was, so that's why I asked the experts. The band director at the high school where I teach is a brass guy, so he couldn't really help. I'll see what eBay says. Thanks.
