vintage tenor mouthpiece date

Anyone know the vintage of my berg larsen hard rubber mpc ? Its a duckbill with only 80 printed on it . No over 1 , 2 etc. also its a slant signature model. Very nice piece and seems around a 5 or 6 lay with a highish baffle and no SMS or M printed Dave

    The slants to my knowledge were the first bergs, from the 40s and early to mid fifties

      Thats what i was thinking but not 100% sure as this one is near mint condition with the only sign of wear around the printing (signature a bit faded) and wasn't sure if they re-introduced the slant signature at a later date. Dave
