New Guy in Town

Hey guys whats up?My band is called Imagination. I play my good ol' tenor sax and im getting pretty good. But my spit keeps getting in the way of of my sound. Thoughts?

    Not much you can do about it except suck the spit out, or try a new reed. I get that problem a lot, too...

    something that i've figured out is that if u have a really spitty sound, your problem might be that your tongue is sitting 2 high in your mouth when you play. try lowering it. the reason being that if your tongue is too high, then the air can pull the spit off of your tongue directly into the mpc. lowering it will change your tounging technique a little bit, and takes a little getting used 2, but it just might be worth it. this may not be your problem at all, but its worth a shot i guess. also try pushing more air, and briefly try altering the amount that u tilt your head (if tilted too high or low, can cause audible spit build-ups in different areas). my $.02 Joel
