New Jazz Mouthpiece

I just got a brand new jazz metal moutpiece, and i just can't figure out how to play it. It's an Otto Link mouthpiece and i put a V16 reed on it and all I here coming out is air. Can someonebody please help me. Thanks

      Give us a bit more info, if you please. What facing on the mouthpiece? What strength reed? Sop., alto, tenor, bari?

        first i would like to ask you what kind of otto link?(gest a question for myself) you problem must be that you put a to srong reed, because i think your maouthpiece is a open one try with some vandoren zz reeds (v16 is ok, but not so great for jazz), and use a smaller number(2 or 2 1\2) depends on you
