Anyone heard of this old horn?

Hi, I recently got an old alto saxophone. It sais "Lyric"on the bell, and the toneholes have a kind of spring. Are they soldered ?,strange! The case is just like my martin alto. I got it for 50 dollars,and I was suprised by the full sound! Does anyone know anything about this horn? It has a serial in the 34000 range,body and neck.
