Music and Accompaniment CD's

I have been getting back into playing my sax. Thanks for all your help on this site. I am looking for resources where I can get printed music with a cd that contains background music for pop and other popular music. I don't play with a band but enjoy playing the lead melody or improvising. Makes practicing and just goofing around fun. Would a karaoke machine be the right way to do this? Thanks for the information! Many of you are very informative and I really appreciate it.

www.sheetmusicplus.com/store/smp_fastresults.html?cart=3326130353559398 But of the many CD/Books that are out there I think ones from Hal Leonard are best. No need for a karaoke machine either.

Jim Snidero's line of books are a nice place to start
