Length of a Martin Handcraft Soprano?

Does anyone know what the length of a Martin Handcraft soprano saxophone is supposed to be?  I say supposed to be, because I recently returned a Conn soprano because it had been cut down a 1/4 inch or so, presumably to accomodate a particular mouthpiece.  I suspect that has been done to this one as well.
