Good, new intermediate altos

I'm looking for a brand new intermediate/pro alto sax somewhere around the $1000-$1500 price range. Any suggestions?

    For around $200 more you can get a new Yamaha yas62 (or just get a used one in your range) which is a good intermediate horn. For nicer models look at auctions or stores - you may be able to find a used pro alto in that range, maybe alittle higher. Consider opening your range to like $1000 to $2000 - it opens more doors.
