Re: Your Jazz Saxophone Set-Up
What are Couf mouthpieces like? I've played a Couf bari, but never tried a mouthpiece. Where can you buy one or try one out?

Re: Your Jazz Saxophone Set-Up
They are a little darker than a meyer, but the 7* is still very open and full. Closest timbre that comes to mind is Johnny Hodges. I really dig em! They are, unfortunately, no longer made.

Re: Your Jazz Saxophone Set-Up
What is a jazz set-up?
I play jazz tenor and alto on a Caravan mouthpiece with #4 traditional (blue box) Vandoren reeds.
I realize that this is traditionally a classical or"legit" set-up, but it works for me. Quality always supercedes quantity.
