Looking for new mouthpiece

I am getting a Cannonball Big Bell alto. I currently use a Berg Larsen hard rubber 100/1/M. I like the sound on my current setup, but I am looking for a darker jazz sound. I use a Rovner Dark lig and Vandoren Java 2 1/2 or 3 reeds. I like my Berg, but I am still in search of the sound I want. I get a huge bright sound with the Berg. I am looking for a nice mellow jazz sound. Nothing too bright though. I also have a Meyer 5M and don't really care for it. I prefer a hard rubber mouthpiece and have never found a metal one for an alto I was overly impressed with. Any referals I can get would be much appreciated. Thanks.
