Dukoff Super Power Camber With a Yamaha 82z

I got a Dukoff D7 off ebay yesterday and i was wondering if anyone could tell me what to expect when i throw it on my sax. I have an 82z laquered alto and i use either ZZ's or rico jazz selects.It has had the table taken in to the measurements of a rigotti gold reed and the burs have been taken out of the bore. Anything helps. Thankx, Nadir

    wow, i can't believe i misspelled chamber, i feel like an idiot. oh well

    Dunno about a D7, i bought a D8 not too long ago, and i had problems squeaking untill i got harder reeds, and i love the sound to death but i still get an ocasional squeak...

      your D7 WILL SQUEAK like there's no tomorrow at first but eventually it will get much better with time. i got one not too long ago for my reference. I'll tell you this- dont use a thick reed (at first) with it. I'd use a rico jazz select size 2 M at most. anyways, it has a great voice/sound. not sure how it will sound on an 82z, tho...
