C.G. CONN - Trying to find model

I recently picked up this Sax at a garage sale and haven't been able to find a lot of information on it. It's working pretty well short of a couple bad pads and I'm trying to find what the model is/age etc to see if its worth fixing up.

    1923 Conn straight neck C melody with a tunable neck.

    Neither an alto in Eflat or a Tenor in B flat.

    A productof the 1920s when all people had to do was sing at the piano in a parlor.

    Keyed to play along with piano music.

     

    There is some interest in todays music. They are thebest made C melodys you can get.

    Value as is around 275. There are a lot of them out there.

    Refurbished value around 850 in todays market.

    IF it has the neck, the case, and the mouthpiece.

      Thank you so much!

      Yes it came with everything and the original case. I played it a bit before I purchased it.

      I will invest the money in new pads and tuning it up. It has a great sound :)

        The old Conn C melodys do best with true conn res-o-pads.

        It has rolled tone holes, and the pads are designed for such designed  old conns.

        They are just like what is on it, but will have a metal resonator and be brown.

        In my opinion, the conn straight neck C melodys are wonderful horns. Not a big resale value, so fix it up for your own enjoyment.
