Breathy sound

I'm playing tenor sax with a size 3 reed. My sound is strong when I blow enough air but no matter how much air I blow it sounds really breathy and airy. Thanks K

Try adjusting your mpc and neck, i get it sometimes...also when you have a bad reed it seems to get airy alittle.

Well you might also have to break the reed in. Sometimes that happens if you haven't practiced in a while or you just moved up in reed size too.

When i use concert reeds i also get a windy sound to them too...your name says "Jazzplayer" so dont know if this is concert or jazz. You could also Sand the read down with sand paper to break it in if you know how to do that, or use a jazz reed they tend to project better...
