"Intermediate" Soprano Saxophone

So I am looking to buy a new/used soprano saxophone, i'm not a beginner to saxophone as a whole but I would like to start playing seriously (last I played was in high school - 2012) and was an alto saxophone.

So I'm looking for intermediate or professional saxophone I think.

I see that there are alot of brands and I have no clue as to what to get without breaking bank for a "good" new one like a Selmer Paris/expensive yamaha. I would love a black laquor one but i prefer good sound over aesthetics (but i mean I do love black/gold style)

If style of music matters, it would be classical, churchish (sometimes), but mainly personal, also romantic-like music.

For my budget I would like to keep it under $2000 USD but can go over but not past $2300

Any suggestions would be appreciated. Also suggestions on mouthpieces?

You have a very wide selection range with that price point.  I have read many comments about the quality and value of the Phil Barone horns.
