I just got this for Christmas and I think it's one of the most educational, complete, thoughtful, entertaining books I've ever studied - and it's fun to play. :)

I got the Slonimsky Thesaurus too - very intimidating until you just start to delve into it at your own speed.

These two books should keep me busy for like, the rest of my life - and probably another lifetime too.

Do any others here study these books? I'd like to hear your opinions and share your experience with them. I read the forwards and I'm currently just opening to a study and playing.

It's the most fun I've had in years.
