Mouthpiece

Hi there,

I need some help from somebody. I have been playing the alto sax since October 2019 (quie a beginner). Lately I have changed the mouthpiece, which was included in the case when I bought the instrument, to an otto link 6 metal mouthpiece. When I play there is a sound as if there is water in the sax, an annoying distortion. Can anyone advise please. Thanks in advance.
